KYAL AM 1550 is licensed to Sapulpa, OK and has been locally owned and operated since 1977. KBIX AM 1490 Muskogee was purchased by KYAL in January 2003. KMMY FM 97.1 was switched from a country music formatted station to KYAL FM The Sports Animal on April 3, 2006. Together they provide total sports coverage with an emphasis on OU, OSU, TU and ORU in northeastern Oklahoma.
